*WARNING: READ WITH TISSUES*
PA turned Princess, this story had my attention the minute I started reading it. Not exactly how you would expect a love story to start, temp. PA knocks scorching hot Prince into pool..but it totally works for this story.
I love Jenna with her no nonsense attitude, she is sweet and honest and I love that even after falling for Rafe she never let that change who she was or what she wanted out of life. She took the job with 1 set purpose and even after Rafe was a total jerk to her she didn't let that stop her.
Rafe, is so much more complex in the beginning but as you get through the book you really start to realize that he isn't really a giant jerk, he is just trying to be the best Prince for his country that he can be. I think meeting Jenna ultimately gave him the emotional support that he needed in order to succeed with where he wants to go. Getting snowed in at the lodge was absolutely the best thing ever.
I will definitely say that the second pool seen (at the lodge) was really a heart stopper and totally unexpected!!
This whole book broke my heart into tiny pieces then mended them back together again...I was nearly sobbing at 1 point in the book.
By far this was an absolutely amazing story and I loved it from beginning to end. Really impressed with this author and being as this was my first time reading any of her work, I thoroughly look forward to reading more of it in the future.
I gave this book a solid 5 stars!!
