Review: Marital Blissaster by Brooklyn Taylor
I was given a copy of this book in return for an honest review.
This is the combined yet separate stories of best friends Callie and Madison. I can honestly say that I don't think I can finish this book...I am only on chapter 6 and I just can't engage my brain into the story, it's just too scattered for my liking. There doesn't really seem to be much cohesive plot. I do also have to take into consideration that as an ARC my copy is missing chunks (a few I think are large chunks) of the chapters which does not help me understand what is going on. I am planning on buying the book and rereading in hopes that it can get a better understanding of what is happening.
With all that being said I did give this at least 3 stars because I do like how the author describes not only the physical appearance of the characters but their individual personalities...Callie and Madison actually remind me quite a bit of me and my best friend lol...without all the adultry of course...but just the closeness and the dynamic of their friendship. I am looking forward to getting the released copy as I really would like to understand better what is happening...I will update my review after that has occurred.
