Book Synopsis -

Fate found him Love, but will Destiny deny him a Mate?

He's on a mission...

After a Wolf Pack killed his Father and scattered the rest of his family to the wind, Bear Shifter Luke has tracked down his enemy at last. Now he stalks them in the remote township of Barrow Alaska, watching their every move. He’s not ready for anything but revenge, but he can’t deny that the troubled waitress at the town’s only bar is something special…

She's turning her life around…

Zoe’s been in trouble with the law. When she and her baby boy were about to be homeless, she told some lies and stole some money. Once she was caught, she left her son with her grandparents and retreated to Alaska, the only place she could make some decent money AND not have the long arm of the law grab her. Now, no matter how hard she works and how hard she tells herself to ignore the strange occurrences around her, a newcomer catches her eye.

Despite her attraction, she tries to do the right thing. Her son’s relying on her, and every day in the snow is a day away from him. Luke can see that she isn’t his Fated Mate, so he fights the urge too…

But what if he’s wrong?

They're in danger…

When Zoe discovers that Barrow is run by Werewolves, can she keep her wits about her long enough to be in an alliance with the Bears? Or will Luke’s insistence that she isn’t ‘the one’ be the end of both of them?

Book review - So, this book was a bit short on details for me, but otherwise it was an amazing story. The characters are written in just such a way that you can almost feel like you are right there in the story and can hear and smell the bikers and experience their rudeness and attitudes...as well as with Luke, the silent hottie in the corner.

The book is a bit fast paced, but not so much so that you don't really get what's going on, it does get a bit confusing throughout the story but I believe that it really lends to the SERIOUSLY amazing climax at the end of the book which is completely unexpected.

I truly did enjoy this book and look forward to reading more from this author.

Happy Howls (positives): The author writes in a such a way that the real villan is never even remotely suspected until pretty much the end of the book, she is very good at distraction.

Gruesome Growls (negatives): Story wasn't really long enough for me and I would've liked to know a bit more about Zoe's past...like what really happened that she felt she had to run and why her son was left with her grandparents
